The marble column capital with two rows of acanthus motifs on the surface of the kalathos is dated to the 6th century. The middle section features acanthus motifs with closed leaves. The leaf motifs on the upper row support the volutes, and there is a space between this register and the echinus section, which is decorated with laurel leaves. The echinus is further decorated with palmettes.
